Hi,

You can find my changes here:
https://github.com/tworaz/cairo/commit/af8bb24556c7fd0af1d42d135926ddffc4ca0cfa.
Keep in mind that this is not by any means complete. It seems to be good
enough to run WebKitDFB, but that might be it. I don't know if it'll be
enough for your needs.

I don't have any kind of roadmap or concrete plans for this. I'm not a
cairo or directfb dev. I'm just interested in having a working WebKitDFB
port and cairo is one of the important dependencies the port uses. After
I found out that recent cairo versions don't seem to work and nobody
seems to be working on fixing it, I've started to look into it myself.
At first I thought it was some trivial bug which could be fixed in a
couple of minutes, but I was wrong. There have been some architectural
changes made after cairo 1.10 and directfb backend wasn't fully ported
to the new architecture. My patch fills in some blanks left behind, but
as it is now it's still highly incomplete. I might finish working on it
if I have some free time, but I can't promise anything.

/ptw
