I'm a huge fan of transparency, and I became interested in directfb when I saw
those screen shots with "true" transparency. How would I go about getting my
system setup to do that?
I've got to compile directfb support into my kernel, right?
Then do I apply patches to gtk, and other apps (X, maybe)?
How does the transparency work in X? Can I set the level on a per-window
basis, or is it pre set, or are there some settings I can configure?
What apps can I actually make transparent? All of them, or just ones that use
gtk?
