When I believe it is ready for general consumption. You can always check out gdk-directfb from our CVS server. The current state is: - it patches cleanly against gtk-2-2 - it compiles w/o warnings - it works and I didn't see any crashes lately - there are some issues with respect to pointer and keyboard focus
As soon as these issues are sorted out, I will do a release. Once that has happened, I will port it to gtk+ HEAD and finally check it into gnomecvs.
So, if you want to get 2.2 released soon, please help me to fix the remaining issues.
