Thanks for u'r suggestion. My development system contains Intel 810E chipset with onboard graphics controller. So I can't use the plugin that you have directed. Is tvtime has a DirectFB output plugin for onboard graphics controller ?

Rather than porting fbtv you may want to try tvtime. It has a DirectFB
output plugin but it's targeted towards Matrox CRTC2 layer. I have a
plugin that works for overlay layers. It's not perfect yet but it works
quite well with Matrox BES. You can get the plugin from
