Hello everyone,

tonight I tried out gtk-directfb, and I after compiling a simple gtk2
application with directfb( buttonbox.c ;) I was happily surprised to see
it appear against a blue background.

After I started that, I wasnt able to play a videofile using
mplayer (or veejay) anymore on the second output from the regular console

My goal is to have a gtk gui on one head and video output on the other
side. how would I configure directfb to do this? should I start mplayer
from within a dfbterm? or do I need to adjust settings of directfb?
I have pretty much done all of what was told in the readme, I also have
tmpfs mounted on /dev/shm; the kernel is compiled with the fusion patch
and directfb with a multi application core.

as long as I didn't use the second head in X I could do the simular thing,
gui on one side/video on other head; so can I assume this will work with
directfb as well?

-- when running regular X I can actually witch between my "directfb -
desktop" and X... that is quite cool.

many thanks,

Matthijs van Henten.
