I am using bttv based "PixelView PlayTV Pro" Tv Tuner card. XAWTV
works fine with audio. (bttv-0.9.11 driver). What I want to know is
how to add audio intercae in DirectFB like that in XAWTV ?

You should probably read xawtv sources. AFAIK there's no real
documentation for the v4l API besides existing apps. You'd need to
the v4l videoprovider sources to unmute the audio and set the volume.
