did anyone have success running "vmware" with XDirectFB?
When I "press" the "Power on" Button, I get the following error message:
"No DGA mode found compatible with 1280x1024, depth 24, bpp 32
XFree86 direct graphics (DGA extension) power on failed.
Failed to determine language-specific keyboard mapping. Please see web page "http://www.vmware.com/support/"; for more information.
Failed to initialize mouse-keyboard-screen control."
If I try again, it remembers that DGA was not present, but fails again:
"Failed to determine language-specific keyboard mapping. Please see web page "http://www.vmware.com/support/"; for more information.
Failed to initialize mouse-keyboard-screen control."
So I assume that "vmware" cannot access the mouse and keyboard, which sounds reasonable in some way, because XDirectFB has it in use.
Anything that can be done here?
