I have a TV application that uses the text overlay feature of the matrox
tvout.
When the layer type was changed from ALUT8 to ALUT44 (after version 0.9.16)
something about the way the palette is being handled has also changed.
The high 4 bits of a byte written to the overlay no longer seems to effect
the
opacity.
This used to work
pixel = ((opacity << 4) & 0xf0) | (color &0x0f)
surfacememory[x][y] = pixel;
But now the text comes up with the correct colors but the opacity
nibble is clearly being ignored.
Is there something I have to do to tell DirectFB to honor the opacity
nibble?
