Hi all, I have a problem with setting an image as a layer's background. I got a layer in admin level, and set its pixelformat to ARGB and buffermode BACKVIDEO. Then I GetSurface from it and render an image on this surface. I tried to set the surface as the background image of the layer. SetBackgroundImage succeeded, but SetBackgroundMode with DLBM_IMAGE hanged my application. I traced it up to dfb_layer_lease() called by repaint_stack(), but have no further clues.
However, if I use CreateSurface from the superinterface, I can successfully set that surface as the background image of another layer. Can a layer uses a surface of its own as its background image? Or must it be a surface from the super interface? Selwyn -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe directfb-users" as subject.
