It should work with the primary-layer=2 option instead of using the -displayLayer switch. > I tried also changing values of > 'window-surface-policy' and 'desktop-backing-store' without success. Is this true? Yes. Well DirectFB parses directfbrc. All XDirectFB specific options are handled by command line switches. > Last thing: I used a custom .xinitrc to launch only 'animenu', a LIRC-driven > menuing application. I don't have those apps to test but I don't think a wm should have anything to do with this. It might be a bug in XDirectFB. I know there's at least one bug: When xscreensaver tries to blank the display it immediately recives some event and unblanks. > I think it's enough. > Anyway, I think directfb and xdirectfb are great. The anti-flicker filter isn't enabled by default. -- Ville Syrjl [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.sci.fi/~syrjala/ -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe directfb-users" as subject.
