Hi
I just got xfirectfb from cvs running on my desktop with a matrox g400. I'm
running gentoo with a 2.6.3 kernel. I had a similar issue with my laptop and 2.6 but
was easy to remedy.
The problem is one i've seen on the mailing list before, but this is a bit
different.. It's the dual mouse input/double click on singleclick issue that most
people have with 2.6 kernels and /dev/psaux symlinks.. On my 2.6 box I seem to have
/dev/input/mice and /dev/input/mouse0, both seperate devices and registering as 2
seperate mice. I realize this is probably a kernel config. issue and not with
XDirectFB, but I'm not sure how to resolve it. I tried changing the permissions on
one of them to 000 root/root and i still get the issue.
Any help would be great..
Also, I noticed in a screenshot on directfb.org where the gnome menu's seemed to be
less transparent the further fromthe cursoe it was.. (so the main menu would be the
most transparent, the next window of the menu less, and the topmost the least.. How
is this obtained?
Also, In my gnome instalation, only gnome windows and xmms seemed to have a shadow,
any programs i opened up (gaim, galeon, aterm, etc) lacked a shadow.. Is it possible
to start applications without the shadowing? I use gdesklets and the shadow on top
of their transparent windows looks horrible..
