I want to change to viafb fremebuffer device during a running system. If I make a "modprobe viafb" the module is loaded succesful, the logs are only saying "viafb: VIA CLE266 framebuffer 0.8 initializing".
Unfortunately no /dev/fb/0 or /dev/fb0 is created. I�ll use an devfs, so that should create /dev/fb0 if I�ll do an modprobe bttv. I also add an alias (viafb /dev/fb0) in /etc/modrobe.conf, this creats an device, but it�s not usable for viafb.
