Yes, I'm saying I have the same CPU load issues on Windows too. So I came to conclusion that maybe I have some hardware issues. I was interested what should be CPU load in non-accelerated mode. (That should be somewhat corresponding to DVDMax in Windows, I think)
Got another G550. It behaves exactly same way. So my card was fine :) Another experiment - removed MTRR from kernel. Got worst. (+ ~25%) So it must be worked. Gonna try another motherboard - on different chipset NForce2 now. My current one - Abit on VIA KT400... CPU does fair benchmarks... so it should not be an issue...
