When using df_xine on a Matrox 450 tv-out (NTSC) I have two interesting little problems. The first is that the aspect ratio of DVDs is wrong. Everything is slightly stretched vertically (everyone is tall and skinny). The second problem is less of a worry to me, but still an issue. With mplayer I can play PAL DVDs with my setup. The output isn't perfect, but it's watchable with frame-skipping here and there to make the framerates match up. When I put in a PAL DVD and fire up df_xine I get audio but no video (just a black screen).
Any help would be appreciated. Any additional info will be provided on request. I couldn't get DirectFB-extra to compile using the CVS or 09.22, so I'm using 09.21 of DirectFB-extra. DirectFB itself is a CVS version from 18 Jan 2005. Thanks, Shawn Dowler -- Want free stuff?
