*That* directfb output which comes with stock xine-lib is broken for years now, unless you use a recent patch Claudio Ciccani posted on the xine-dev list and nobody seems to ever have cared about (like always when someone asks or mentiones DirectFB on the xine list, seems to me). But df_xine uses a DirectFB output of itself which you have to build and *install* from the DirectFB-extra package where df_xine also comes from (also Claudio's work), just then df_xine will find the DFB output module, when installed under xine-lib's standard location for output modules (make install in DirectFB-extra will do that for you). P.S. @Claudio: I tried your recent DirectFB patch for fbxine and can't get a picture on my TV like with df_xine. The ssh console from which I start fbxine gets "diagonally" garbled with some text output which doesn't give me any clue... _______________________________________________ directfb-users mailing list [email protected] http://mail.directfb.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/directfb-users
