Hi!

The way I see it, this depends only on your mainboard's bios - if you have an 
option to power on in response to USB/Serial events, then it may be possible... 
Otherwise it seems unlikely to me.

However, it should not be too hard to wire up another power button (it is after 
all just a switch) in parallel with the main one, and power it on that way.

Hi,

does someone know if it's possible to power on a pc via a touch screen device ? 
I'm thinking of ordering a small 7" vga touch screen to place a secondary view 
(G400 dual head) of vdr-softdevice with directfb-out on it.

As I know thats easy possible to power on via PS/2 keyboard, I guess that 
should be possible via a touchscreen device too, but ...

Getting a positive/negativ confirmation is better.
