Yeah, I was hit by that too... :)
The docs aren't always 100% updated on the webpage it seems, dfb is a 
fast-moving project!

But running:

% dfbinfo --dfb:help      (or any other dfb app, the --dfb:help parameter is 
what's important)

will give some useful help on the options, and includes the description of 
"no-vt"  ;)

*blink* *blink* I must be blind, there's absoloutely no documentation of a 
'no-vt' option in that page. There is vt-switch, vt-switching and 
graphics-vt (all of which I have tried before going on this list btw), but 
no '[no]-vt', which was exactly the one I needed.
