Hi!

AFAIK the "no-vt" option should suppress the vt switch...
If you are running the application from the framebuffer console that the 
directfb apps are supposed to appear on this is unlikely to work, since the 
framebuffer will be controlled by the console, and the console and directfb 
will interfere with each other in calls to the framebuffer.
If you are running the app from a serial console or Telnet/SSH terminal the 
no-vt option should work for you.
