hi,

I don't know any place else where I could ask for help, so here
        is my
        problem.

I would like to run a TFT screen with 2.5" at my VGA out,
        inbetween that
is a vga to RGB converter.

The VGA out has to send an interlaced signal to the converter!

A college tested it in windows it's working fine with following
        settings
        in powerstrip:

        Resolution - 768 x 576
        Horizontal refresh rate - 16
        Verticalal refresh rate - 25
        Horizontal front porch - 16
        Vertical front porch - 5
        Horizontal sync with - 65
        Verticalal sync with - 5
        Horizontal back porch - 96
        Vertical back porch - 40
        Pixel Clock - 14.774
        Interlace active

I can't get it running in linux, I don't know the line for grub
        and I
haven't found any information if it is possible at all to run
        the FB
interlaced with my VGA card and these specs.

I am running debian with the following:

        lspci tells me

0000:00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation
        82852/855GM
        Integrated Graphics Device (rev 02)

        uname -a - 2.6.14.5 (compiled from a vanilla kernel)

        and DirectFB - 0.9.22

Any suggestion or help is greatly appreciated, if more
        information
required just reply. Or just to point me into the right
        direction :-|

        Best regards,

        Emil Krüper
