Thanks for your reply, but when configured with --enable-debug I had to set optimize level to -O2 for a successful compile. Results are very strange. I thought a fprintf to stderr is unbuffered, but that seem to be no longer true, as I see your SetParms() method beeing called when _not_ all messages from constructor are printed. With TV-out enabled "-vo dfb:mgatv:" it stil failes. With vga-out it sometimes works. Even dfbinfo terminates with a segfault. > > > Stefan Lucke wrote: > > >Hi, > > > >with a gentoo 2006.0 system and gcc 3.4.4 > >g++ (GCC) 3.4.4 (Gentoo 3.4.4-r1, ssp-3.4.4-1.0, pie-8.7.8) > > > >configuring with --enable-multi --enable-debug --enable-trace , > >compilations result in triggering an internal compiler bug: > >http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130001 > > > >With and without --enable-multi I got sig11 at various times when > >starting vdr with softdevice plugin. > > > >my directfb version is cvs from yesterday. > >hardware for sig11 is a G550 on aopen celeron-m board. > > > >dfbinfo works most of the time, but sometimes it did not > >finish reporting. > > > >Error message from softdevice: > >[dfb] Set DLBM_TRIPLE for layer [Matrox CRTC2 Layer] > >[dfb] DLOP_FIELD_PARITY supported by layer [Matrox CRTC2 Layer] > >[dfb] 1 draw frame (736 x 576) Y: 736 UV: 368 > >[dfb] (re)configuring Videolayer to 736 x 576 (720x576) > >[dfb] creating new surface (stretchBlit) > >[surface capabilities] videoSurface: videoonly > >[dfb] (re)configured 0x00200806 > >[dfb] 2 draw frame (736 x 576) Y: 736 UV: 368 > >xx3 > >xx4 > >(!)
