I'm new here, I've just installed directfb + xdirectfb on my computer, and it works pretty well - quite impressive in fact ! But there is still something I don't understand : I just can't type accentuated characters - which are working either in the framebuffer and in Xorg.
I've been looking around for a solution but found nothing yet - I just hope someone here will give me a clue !
My system is :
* Athlon64
* matrox G550 running on matroxfb
* kernel linux-2.6.16-gentoo-r7
* gentoo 2006.0 full 32bits
* DirectFB 0.9.22 (0.9.24 seems to break a dependency in portage)
* xdirectfb 1.0_rc5-r2
* DirectFB-extra 0.9.22
