I've done it a few months back so here's my report: The build system of glibmm, gtkmm, libglademm is really fucked up. It has several Makefile.am fragments which it tries to combine in some fashion and then it tries to generate source code from some kind of templates. Suffice to say I didn't get the build system to cooperate at all so I figured out what it was trying to do and I just made a few scripts that call the appropriate tools. I've put the scripts here: http://www.sci.fi/~syrjala/gtkmm/ You should run the apprpriate build_hack.sh script after configure. I suppose it might be a good idea to rewrite the build system so that it actually works and can be understood by mere mortals. Maybe I'll get to that someday if no one else volunteers ;) PS. I'm quite disappointed by the size of these mm libraries. Many of them end up being significantly larger than the library they supposedly wrap. -- Ville Syrjälä [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.sci.fi/~syrjala/ _______________________________________________ directfb-users mailing list [email protected] http://mail.directfb.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/directfb-users
