Hello everybody: I dont know why in the dfb configuration paper isnt a topic for config grub instead lilo...
For People who want use GRUB instead LILO (my little hand) here is the way to do it: In "Configuring the Linux frame buffer device" GRUB configuration : add the parameters to the kernel /boot/... grub directive to load the vesa module : video=vesafb:ywrap,mtrr vga=788 ...and if you need mouse maybe you sould check if mousedev is in /etc/modules on debian distr. if fb0 is working when you do cat /dev/fb0 you will see on screen U- lines (press ctrl + c to cancel).
