I was just trying out the df_texture example under DirectFB-examples-0.9.25
I'm running debian etch on G4 PowerPC with Radeon 9200, I can confirm that under 0.9.23 on Ubuntu on this machine, all examples worked.
Failed examples under Etch directfb 0.9.25 on radeon 9200 include:
df_texture
df_particle
df_netload
df_window
df_porter
df_knuckles
df_bltload
df_layer
resulted in black screens, many I was able to punch Esc to exit. So graphically these are failing.
what worked:
df_fire
df_flip
spacedream
df_andi
and the rest I didn't look at. But why is this happening? .25 of dfb has just been added to Etch.
As I said, this worked under Ubuntu a dfb release or two earlier. Is it all Debian's fault, or is there new hotness under .25 that is known to break on radeon 9200 on PowerPC?
