but you mean in framebuffer mode? or with gtk or something similar?
I've asked this, because of sync problems when fading from image one to 
image two, while a video plays and so on...
i try this with SDL....and the result was.....baaaaad.....sync problems, 
slow and high cpu usage....
Well, i will read the DFB APIs  and try to find out "HOW" to make it....
Do you or someone else know some examples?
would be nice....thanks....
