Interesting. I'm using DirectFB on the Davinci DVEVM boardwithout an issue. However it may not be the same version (not sure which version at the moment).
We currently do not have it running on an LCD display, so there are differences in our setup (just the display that came with the DVEVM). Sorry, this isn't much help.
