[directfb-users] has anyone worked with v4l2 on DirectFB?

I have been using the Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000 which works with the uvcvideo driver.

The driver has limitations on the pixel format supported, It supports only YUYV and MJPEG.

I am able to capture and displaye frames using the webcam, capturing in YUYV format and

displaying using DSPF_YUY2 and I get a perfect feed.

However, the only problem is that I am not able to set the capture size to anything other than

VGA. Is that a flaw in the driver? Does anyone has any idea?

 

Any pointer is solicited.
