Yes. I read ubuntu's usplash code (which uses lib bogl) and it mentions something about libjpeg crashing at some point. Since lbdirectfb uses libjpeg, I wonder if that had something to do with it? In other words, would the crashing of a portion of libdirectfb cause the app to catch a signal that eventually kills the app in turn.
