i have an amd-geode lx 800. If i try to play an mpeg file with directfb i have a cpu usage of 70-90% !
is it possible to optimize something? maybe, is there a directfb driver for it? what do i need to do?
...and, is there a linux kernel and/or distribution that is reccomended for directfb on a geode chipset? gentoo? or debian?
now i use debian with a kernel 2.6.17...but..it does not work well...
I try to play an hdtv film....terrible...100%+ usage.... "slowmotion" was the result ...
:-)
but i hope that there is a solution...hardware acceleration? but how? which driver? and so on...please help me...
