Hi there, I am playing around with Directfb since a few weeks now. Mainly I am using it together with vdr + softdevice but obviously it offers some fantastic oportunities. Anyway I couldn't find any information about the following :
1) I am using an G400 AGP with RGB cable (directfb output) and got now an additional G450 PCI. Originally I thought I could run the vdr plugin "graphtft" on second head of the PCI card, but learned that the second head FB device this is not accessible as the matroxfb_crct2 module shouldn't be loaded together with dfb. Alright, then I thought I could also use dfb for this purpose. Unfortunately it seems to be impossible to use the second head of both cards in parallel. When Multihead support is enabled within in the kernel the second head of the PCI card can be used (the first of this device is also working fine) but the TV out on the G400 is only showing red stripes. Generally, should it be possible to have different applications running on both second heads of these different devices ? 2) A while ago I was trying to get the DirectFBGL thing to work. I found out that the old embedded Mesa package doesn't like the modified DRM drivers from kernel >2.6.11. Is there are any workaround ?
