I am running gtkperf on a MIPS processor at 285Mhz (NXP PNX8950/8550). I am using DirectFB 1.0.0 RC4 gtk 2.10.9 cairo 1.2.6 glib 2.12.9 pango 1.13.5
I then run gtkperf and get the following times: GtkEntry - time: 1.47 GtkComboBox - time: 30.39 GtkComboBoxEntry - time: 25.34 GtkSpinButton - time: 6.30 GtkProgressBar - time: 2.47 GtkToggleButton - time: 35.54 GtkCheckButton - time: 12.13 GtkRadioButton - time: 41.54 GtkTextView - Add text - time: 32.28 GtkTextView - Scroll - time: 46.29 GtkDrawingArea - Lines - time: 24.82 GtkDrawingArea - Circles - Gdk-DirectFB-Message: unimplemented time: 2.25 Followed by: GtkDrawingArea - Text - (!) [ 943: 277.876] --> Caught signal 4 (sent by the kernel) <-- (!) Direct/Thread: Canceling 'Fusion Dispatch' (945)! Illegal instruction There are two questions here: 1.) Does anyone else have performance figures for their systems. (PC included) I would like to know if we have good, bad or average performance. Comparing to Pentiums, Core Duos, ARMS etc would help. (Maybe a WIKI page could be started...?) 2.) Is anyone else having any 'illegal instruction' issues (maybe CVS versions of the packages solve this?) - I will post more once GDB give me more......
