Hi,
I was trying to write a small C application to use DirectFB to draw a
horizontal line
on RedHat 9 machine, but get the following error during runtime...

--> No such device

(!) DirectFB/FBDev: Use 'fbdev' option or set FRAMEBUFFER environment variable.
(!) DirectFB/Core: Could not initialize 'system' core!
--> Initialization error!

(#) DirectFBError [DirectFBCreate (&dfb)]: Initialization error!
So please help in running the program .
Is there any DirectFB configuration which might help the case?
