Hi, There's a sample WM called SaWMan that you can get from the DirectFB site. You'll need to modify it in order to use it as you want.
There's new work in progress for creating a WM for DirectFB, a new branch only for this purpose has just been created. No new code has been commited to this project yet, but in the following weeks you'll start to see the first results, hopefully!
