Hello list!

I seem to have a problem with key encodings, or keymaps.

I have Directfb-1.0 installed, on which my gtk+-2.10.11 application
runs.

Before starting my app. I switch the keyboard layout to czech with
loadkeys cz-us-qwertz (keymap file is appended). This file
comes from the gentoo kbd-1.12-r8 package.

As defined in the keymap file, for example keycode 3 (which
is the "3" key on a keyboard with us keyboard mapping) should
deliver the code for an "e" with a caron on it. Unfortunately
my gtk+ application receives the keycode for a "superscript 1".
This is the case for several keys on the keyboard (though I could
not find a pattern which keys are mapped correclty, and which
are wrong).

Has anyone an idea what's wrong here? Or what I'm doing
wrong?

Thanks and regards
Christian Schaubschlaeger
