I've just set up a cle266 test system, but I'm getting jerky
playback. My symptoms seems equal to those described by Laurence
Abbot in september 05;
Playback of live TV is the correct speed but quite jerky: not sure
it's actually missing any frames but the speed seemed a
tad uneven (A-V sync was also off which may have helped it to look
worse than it actually was!). Bizarrely, playing back recordings
(from vdr)
played them at what looked like double speed. I think these are
problems with softdevice, though, from looking throught the
softdevice list archives.
Am wondering how to fix this? I only see the double speed on
recording playback for about 5 seconds, then it goes back to jerky
playback as with live TV. My CPU utilisation is around 30%, so
everything seems OK otherwise.
I'm using a MS-6723 motherboard from a Digitainer computer.
