If you are interested here is the rfb application that I am working on This first sample was created a week or two ago using the ARGB surface converted programatically to UYVY http://www.youtube.com/v/kBnULv-Xy24 and this his the new version using the UYVY layer that you explained http://mvallevand.googlepages.com/yuvgpbvr.mpg You will see the notable gains in speed. I am interested in a Disko but that will come later. I had enough of a challenge with directvnc.
