What will be your toolkit for mozilla..?? And, according to wiki you are using GDK. If you see GTK over DirectFB then you will find that optimisation scope is there in GDK-DirectFB. DOK recently released many pathces related to that. Mike Emmel knows everything about the DirectFB Backend of GTK/GDK. And, where all the improvement can be made. Also, there may be some optimisation scope in Cairo-DirectFB mapping. Experts can throw light on that.
Can you elaborate on what is the idea behind not using GTK..? I thought you will be writing a completely new backend for Mozilla using DirectFB native APIs.
