Hi Dennis

I'm in the process of setting up DFB for use with GTK-DFB, and then on
to looking at different window managers and browsers running over DFB.
I was getting the "out of shared memory" warnings when using the Links
browser. Fusion would shut down after a certain number of mouse clicks
and key strokes.

On further examination, however, it looks more like a problem with
viafb. When I change the mode with fbset and then launch Links I get
the shared memory problem. If I leave the mode set to whatever I have
passed to the kernel at boot time, then there is no problem. There
seems to be no relationship between whether the resolution is increased
or decreased - only whether or not it's been changed.

I'll investigate further and report back.

Richard Melville
