I have no keyboard, as it is a hand-held system. I will have to look into how to get get gpio-keys to emulate a keyboard handler...
Would you mind providing a patch, or even point me to the file where I can stub-out the keyboard check code? I faced similar error and it was due GTK trying to access keyboard which was not in my system. It was resolved after i commented keyboard check code in GTK source since i was not aware of any better method to overcome it.
