I did just the same. I also wanted to OSD1 for blending and Video windows for displaying video. So i masked the code to open OSD1, VID0 and VID1 windows. I also masked references to them in davinci gfxdriver files.
I could not use OSD1, VID0 for blending and video display since it was already opened by DirectFB. I could not find a way to use OSD1 and VID0 windows through DirectFB so finally had to mask the code. Is there a better way to handle this?
