Hi all, I just joined this list. My name is Vitor, I am from Brazil and I am working with the brazilian's digital tv middleware's opensource implementation, OpenGinga.
I am trying to use dfbg to set the background to an png but I can't. It seems that dfbg runs, sets the background, I can see it, but then, almost instantly, it gets cleared and I am back to the shell. It looks like dfbg paints the image then, when it exits, the shell is painted over it. Don't know. I am using Debian Lenny, dfbg 1.0.1, directfb too, compiled from source. Nothing fancy, just ./configure && make && make install. The output of dfbg is: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/# dfbg background.png =======================| DirectFB 1.0.1 |======================= (c) 2001-2007 The DirectFB Organization (directfb.org) (c) 2000-2004 Convergence (integrated media) GmbH ------------------------------------------------------------ (*) DirectFB/Core: Single Application Core. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/# I doesn't works even if I just try to set the color, with dfbg -c ffffffff. I already googled for it, asked at #directfb freenode's channel, but got no success. Updating DFB to the lastest version isn't an option at this moment, but I surely will in the next months. Does anybody has any clue?
