Hi Harinandan, devmem is the most basic system. If you will, it is a cut-back function-stripped fbdev. This means, that if you use devmem, you have to yourself: - initialise/deinitialise the graphic display driver - program the display functions and register them with dfb_layers_register to get a working screen. You might use devmem if you don't have a working linux fb implementation for your device.
