Hi, my mistake.

for solution 2:
I should have mentioned MODULEDIR instead of DATADIR,
so in your case it should be probably 
/usr/miniDirectFB/lib/directfb-0.9.24/system for the system modules.
Note that, for this to work, you have to have dynamic loadable files in 
there (*.so files).

for solution 3:
I forgot that the libraries do not contain required (undefined) symbols, 
so you need to force them in your code; more easily, just include the 
*.o file instead, so more or less *.o of your system/fbdev directory. I 
think that should work...
