Hi Kasi Mir,I 've that board too and tried to get DirectFB run with the
sis-driver. Unfortunately the sis-driver is very old and not in a good shape.
It has the problems you mentioned (dark vertical lines in higher resolutions)
and it does not give you a video layer at all. The best I got to work was the
new uvesafb-driver, which is not so slow on that board. For VDR and DVDs, I
switched to X-Server. The X-driver is also very old and has the same
line-problem with high resolutions, but there exists a patch for that from Otto
Dominguez and then it works fine.
Kind regards,
Manfred

Mirage 1, sisfb and DirectFBHello everyone,as I've gotten no reply whatsoever
to my message three weeks ago, I just wanted to ask whether anyone has any
experiences at all with that Intel board (not the most obsure mainboard in the
world) and DirectFB? I'm still at a loss as to how to get a decent display w/o
using the slow-as-hell vesafb plus software renderer. Happy new yearKasi MirOn
