I am able to get directfb working with an Intel 82852/855GM in 1024x768-24 mode, but when I try it in 1280x1024-16 (or 24) I get the following message:
(*) FBDev/Mode: Setting 1280x1024 RGB16 (*) FBDev/Mode: Switched to 1280x1024 (virtual 2048x2048) at 16 bit (RGB16), pitch 4096 (!!!) *** WARNING [unable to adjust heap offset] *** [surfacemanager.c:167 in dfb_surfacemanager_adjust_heap_offset()] What can I do to fix this?
