Hi,
Actually I want Intel i5 processor with GMAHD to support
Directfb. But since such a platform is not
available now , I am trying out it's feasibility in my own PC . Since
in my PC i915 is used and it is not supporting
Directfb. I am trying to use that graphic card to display my image
through Directfb.
I think now its clear. And I didn't see the support of directfb in the
driver of i810 and i830 in my PC.

There is already a DirectFB driver for intel i810 and i830.
Maybe you can take that as a base.
I dont know how big the differences between i915 and i830 are though...
