Also, in the DFB start-up banner it will state what graphics driver was loaded (if any) and potentially overloaded by directfbrc commands. To allow no CPU-based rendering to be confirmed use the directfbrc command "no-software". A similarly useful directfbrc command is "no-hardware" which will prevent all GPU-based rendering. Both are very useful for debugging.
