This is a real problem because there are other processes that use VNC
(such as VM's) that get started and automatically grab VNC ports
starting at 5900 and working up.  And so sometimes when I try to start a
DirectFB session it fails because something else has grabbed 5900.  And
in the case of VM's it is not easy to just shut down since there is open
and ongoing work inside that VM.

I would suggest that it might be a good enhancement to have DirectFB try
ports starting at 5900 and working up until it finds an unused port to grab.
