I think the tutorials should grow a bit, but no-one seems to be willing; I have a self-contained example that changes a surface hue (changing RGB to HSV, and back to RGB). Maybe it needs some fixes (very probably) but it does the work and it shows how can someone manipulate to surface pixel on a bit basis. Do you think it could be useful?
