May I suggest? I added a new logo well suited for horizontal spaces:

...which should fit well into the "brand" left-topmost space instead of the
text
<a class="brand" href="./index.html">Apache DirectMemory</a>
and the incubator logo could be moved into the topbar-inner div (resized and
right aligned) thus eliminating the large white space below the top bar and
some redundancy (Apache DirectMemory is repeated three times in a 3cm box in
the top left corner). Apache-DirectMemory-logo-medium.png could be used into
the center (hero-unit) box alongside with the text pay-off.
